Original Watercolours for a range of Contemporary Spaces
Hand‑painted by South London artist Dharmishta Patel. Transforming spaces with colour, emotion, and atmosphere.
About the Artist
I’m a watercolour artist who creates work designed to evoke deep, immediate emotional responses. My art comes from the soul — an honest expression of feeling — and I hope each piece resonates with those who experience it.
Although I began my artistic journey only two years ago, I quickly discovered a natural connection to watercolour. Starting later in life has given my work a sense of clarity and purpose; every piece is created with intention, emotion, and a genuine love for the medium.
Much of my process is intuitive, allowing water and pigment to move freely and shape the final piece. These fluid, unplanned creations reflect both instinct and emotion, revealing the evolving techniques and expressive style that define my work today.
Awards & Recognition
Despite beginning my artistic journey only two years ago, I’m grateful to have received recognition that has encouraged and affirmed my path. In 2026, I was shortlisted for the CCA Galleries Emerging Artist Awards, a milestone that highlighted the growth and direction of my work.
I’ve also taken part in the Sutton Parks ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’ Competition for two consecutive years. In 2024, I earned a Certificate of Merit for my on‑the‑spot watercolour painting of my local park. Returning in 2025, I was awarded Overall Winner in the adult category across all six parks — a moment that remains one of the most meaningful highlights of my journey so far.
I’m proud to be an active member of both the Croydon Art Society and the Carshalton & Wallington Art Group, two vibrant creative communities where artists come together to share, learn, and celebrate fine art.
